The potential for using QTVR to improve public education inmuseums opens new frontiers. Instead of having a webmaster and web designer do my QTVR, I wanted to learn to do it myself. Asking around for the best software I quickly learned that VR ObjectWorxfrom VR Toolbox was considered ideal.
WWW.Maya-archaeology.org was possibly the first site to havea virtual Maya object on the Internet and among the first twoor three sites with virtual views of Maya sites (Copan ballcourt). We had the first virtual view of a museum of Maya archaeology, indeed three (two museums at Copan and one in Guatemala City.
If you also wish to do this kind of fun work yourself, just contact VR Toolbox by phone toll-free at 1-877-878-6657 [or direct 412-767-4947], by fax at 412-767-4090 or by e-mail Walter Neals at walter@vrtoolbox.com.
