Women tend to have the most colorful and attractively decorated textiles so these are logically the core
of the exhibits of Mayan weaving and costumes in the Museo Ixchel, Guatemala City.

When you are in Guatemala be sure to visit the Museo Ixchel. This museum is on the campus of the Universidad Francisco Marroquin, adjacent to the Museo Popol Vuh of Maya archaeology.
